Book review: Calling Sehmat

 Calling Sehmat is a novel written by Harinder Singh Sikka in 2008. It is a thriller about a real life spy by the code name Sehmat during the 1971 India - Pakistan war. Sehmat is a 20 year old girl sent to Pakistan to gain information for India during the time of the war. I read this book in a week because I was super hooked to it but I know a week is not the shortest time period to finish a book, but at the time it was a big achievement for me. Calling Sehmat has been adapted into a Hindi language movie in 2018 named "Raazi" by director Meghna Gulzar, starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in leading roles.
